Was My Father Out of Line?

Hmm, my previous post didn’t really even disagree with you. I only threw out the ■■■■■ card because I thought your previous post had such a basic and obvious logical error that it was hard to believe it was real.

CCers? Who else?

You and everyone else who likes to make themselves appear smart because they’re insecure. That’s who else.

Anyone specific?

Ugh, pathos ad hominem fallacy guys. Geez, uneducated illiterate engineer non sequitur. God…

No, I pull the ■■■■■ card because of the tags (that I just noticed lol) and who started the thread.

I really don’t think he was out of line. Sorry.

He is your dad and probably just worried about you. My mom asks annoying questions all the time; that is what parents are for :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t mean to get in your business, but in my opinion friends are pretty darn important.

Whether you are serious or just a ■■■■■, you need friends and your dad was hardly wrong.

My mom does that sometimes. I have some friends… I just don’t hang out with them very often in real life. Not least because I don’t have access to a car and all but one of them live too far to walk.

And I think you mentioned having a full ride to your school? If you’re an incoming freshman and not going to a local college, it’s not like you’ll even see most of your high school friends again anyway. Enjoy yourself! Try to be more social in college, but I wouldn’t worry about it now.

He hasn’t gone over the line.
I wouldn’t want my child to be a loner.

Are we still talking about this? Okay, we get it. He needs to have friends. I think that was established in the first 3 pages. Now can you all **** and let the thread die.

^ Its all about the post count!
