<p>Whoa…I’d venture this alum was fairly old. The area is very nice by any definition. Back in the day like a couple decades ago, Wash Sq. was shady, but not anymore (especially after the 90’s when Rudy Guiliani cleaned house with the riff raff in the area). NYU owns almost everything around Washington Square, and the Greenwich Village area is one of most affluent in New York.</p>
