Washington University in St. Louis - Applying RD to Class of 2024

Anyone know what time it came out last year?

Someone should call and check for all of us?

it came out at 5:30 pm EST last year! it looks like it was pretty much on the dot too…

I thin it’ll come out between 4-5 pm either tomorrow or Friday

just called the admissions office and they didn’t say a date, just “by March 20th”

between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. CST

Scholars Weekened was cancelled today:( They sent out an email, each scholarship committee will contact finalists regarding extra information

Today’s the day!

Hopefully! I’m nervous but I’m not that confident.
I wish I showed interest):

I am nervous for my son. Thinking this might be his first rejection. Does he even stand a chance with a 33 ACT/1500 SAT and 4.3 GPA? Only hook might be first generation college student. He did visit campus and do alumni interview to show interest.

@Bezmom Your son has a better chance than me, only thing I have going for is that I’m a legacy. My superscore ACT is a 31, well below WashU’s standards.

So my friend just called the admissions and confirmed that the decisions are coming out today in the late afternoon…good luck everyone!

That’s crazy! 34 ACT (35 superscore)/ 4.6 GPA here. I’m beyond nervous as WashU is one of my top choices

What are everybody’s thoughts on my son’s chances. Please note that on the weighted GPA, they only give a little weight to AP classes, but my son has taken all Honors classes in subjects that he didn’t take AP classes (not sure why they don’t give weight to Honors classes at our HS):

1540 SAT (800 Math)
4.00 UW, 4.35 Weighted
5/328 Rank
NHS, National Science Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta
4 year athlete (soccer and track)
Lots of service hours (not much leadership there, though)
Will have 7 AP classes when all is done (4 last year, 3 this year)
Maryland Resident
Engineering/Computer Science

He showed interest through many admissions officer emails as well as an Alumni Interview. Thoughts?

No one here is going to be able to give you a accurate chance me unless its a admission officer. Based on the limited knowledge of someone on the outside, his academics meet what washU’s expects/wants.

The ecs look a tad generic tbh and I don’t really see much direct correlation of Ecs to major (I see Science NHS and mu alpha theta but this is more stem/math and not specifically engineering or cs) But again anything can happen and no one can give you a good chance me esp since we can’t read essays.

But I mean you’ll know the real life chance me from the AO today, so good luck to your son(:

Yup - thanks. He does have Coding Club as an EC, too. And has 4 Computer Science classes (2 AP) on his transcript. Fingers crossed. In all honesty, he’s a terrible essay writer, so that will likely be his downfall. We’ll see.

Good luck to everybody!

Just got a USPS text saying a package label was created this morning from St. Louis! (We’re in Massachusetts.) Could this be an acceptance package?

There have been changes to the portal page. Nothing to click yet for decision but things have been taken off that were there this morning.

That sounds positive!

Did anyone else get a text from usps? We didnt!
