@violintigress I basically only applied because of that.
says i have a package coming on monday ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
mine says i have a package!! i seriously hope this is accurate…otherwise i’ll be heartbroken
can someone email admissions and ask if they mail rejection letters?
@VaishS - Thanks. Maybe it is bc no interest was shown - no visit to campus and no attendance at a WashU in your area meeting either - although the Danforth app was submitted… the whole process is nuts.
FWIW: According to the website, they mail letters, but the question is would they mail rejection letters via UPS.
@golfcashoahu they say they mail rejection letters?
They say they mail letters––so I would assume rejection and acceptance ones. But, as I said, the question is whether they would send rejection letters via UPS rather than USPS
^^ They would not send rejection letters via UPS
since they use an online portal, i doubt they mail rejection letters, right?
No school is going to send you a rejection letter priority mail.
rejection letters are not mailed. They come through the portal. Acceptance letters come through the portal plus they send some follow-up forms on the university in a package, which I believe is the UPS package that people who are accepted receive.
LOL I did the table view thing and there’s still nothing there… in that case, I’m guessing I either got rejected or put on the waiting list…
I’m not even gonna make one of these accounts, I don’t want to know yet.
Has anyone from engineering gotten a package notification? I haven’t gotten one
I gotta say, finding out from the flipping ups that I didn’t get in might be the worst possible way of finding out that you didn’t get into a college you loved -.-
Yeah I have nothing. Gg
I think no package means either rejected or waiting list. You won’t get a package on waiting list, but many kids get accepted off the waiting list so not the end of hope
I think WU admisssions office is still creating and loading the labels so don’t give up. More importantly, no one knows for sure what having an expected package delivery from UPS means. They all say “1 lb” but that could be a generic reply to the weight inquiry when they create the mailing labels. I’m just a parent and I am not going to say anything to my applicant about it yet. Better to wait until they load decisions via WU portal tomorrow at 5pm. (Ihopefully) Fingers crossed for all of you!
Well the question is will the portals be updated tonight or tomorrow?
