Not sure about housing preference for athletes, but I have a feeling there is none. The WUSTL housing on the website is fairly accurate – I just think you need to decided what kind of housing you want. My son is in a modern double in Lien and loves it. His room is very nice with plenty of space. He especially loves it as it is one the closest dorms to campus. I know there are also youtube videos you can watch.
