So the bigger question is why do the wheels fall off in high school. Is it that we’ve committed to educating everyone until at least age 16? Or we’re educating to the middle of the bell curve?

<p>Or that we are educating mostly to the bottom of the bell curve, and offering honors/AP courses to a few top students? That leave the middle to fall behind their ability.</p>
