To notrichenough - that’s my situation. I have wedding gifts - very nice ones, too - sitting in my attic after 20+ years of marriage because either we have no place to put them or we don’t really use them. I did check out the bowls sites suggested, and I would love to own one, but I can’t guarantee that the couple would like them. I’ve traditionally been reluctant to give table wear of any kind as a wedding gift because it’s so much a matter of taste, even if they could actually use the items. So I’m weighing either the theater tickets gift certificate or Bloomingdale’s g/c, which is easy for me since I’m in the suburbs and there is one not far from home. Thanks for all the suggestions!

I love the theater tickets idea.

New towels. Get them a gift certificate to Bloomingdales or Crate & Barrel or someplace else, and tell them you want them to use it to purchase soft new color-coordinated his and hers towel sets for themselves. (I did not appreciate the towel sets we got 30 years ago when we got married as much as I would appreciate them today.)
