unlikely :frowning: I know that Wellesley doesn’t care about interest, but would sending them an email updating my application (esp my activities list) and indicating my interest help my case?
My stats are all set…I think it was my activities list.

you should go for it! It won’t hurt. Send them a “continued interest” letter and an updated activities list.

@Felicity12 I got an unlikely too and that’s what I’m doing.

Thanks @spunkyrock982 I will!!
@theartofg Ok awesome!! Let’s git it ?

Did anyone else get an email inviting them to admitted students day?

Did anyone else get an email inviting them to admitted students day?

I got a “Likely”!!! I’m so happy. Although I won’t be able to attend the Open Day weekend because of the coronavirus travel ban :frowning:
Does anyone know what certainty of admission a “likely” stands for?

Hey @Doughz , from what I’ve heard from current students/admissions is that nobody thus far has ever gotten a likely and then been rejected in march. hope this helps!

That’s great. Thank you :smiley:

Did they let you guys know about the decisions in the update email that they sent? Or did you have to log in to the portal to view the decision?

@florencewelch666 It is in the e-mail.

Portal glitch? When I applied to Wellesley RD in early January the portal allowed me to check off the EE option. I thought this was great as I knew that I could not apply ED due to financial reasons. However, last night when I did not get a letter and my portal wasn’t updated I did some investigating and found out that EE submissions needed to be in by December 15. Just wondering if Wellesley had a portal glitch and if this happened to anyone else or if I am the person that missed the boat. I am so upset with myself for not paying closer attention :frowning:

If you’re the parent of a EE likely student, feel free to join us over at our parent-run Facebook group named Parents of Wellesley Class of 2020-2024 (unofficial)

Hi, I got a possible and I wrote a letter of continued interest. I was wondering where I should send it to? I was not sure if I should send it to the general admissions email, because I could not find the emails of specific admissions counselors.

My D received a likely letter and then an invitation to fly out for admitted students weekend on W. She was so excited! But I just read their Coronavirus update and they are canceling the in person admitted students event and will be holding a virtual event instead. We are so sad ?.
