Got “Unlikely” for EE and wrote a solid LOCI but I’m officially rejected today. My test scores are all good but my ECs are terribly lacking. I’m doing a lot of things senior year but it’s not in time for college apps. (but that’s ok because everything shouldn’t be done for apps anyways) It’s all good! 
sis got waitlisted with perfect stats and international ECs, even tho she didn’t ask for fin-aid

Accepted after positive EE, waitlisted at smith but Wellesley is kinda my dream school.
GPA- Weighted weird so well over a 4.0 my school says 4.8
SAT- 1420
EC- leader in every club society I do: mock trial, NHS, theatre, etc, intern for district court, coached a girls running team
I think what pushed me over was the fact that I spend so much time on campus so I could write a really good supplement.

My GPA was probably what impacted my EE result the most, but I wrote a strong LOCI explaining why I would fit Wellesley’s academic environment.

I honestly don’t even know how I got in. I got a 1220 SAT and a 3.87 or so GPA plus my parents never went to college. The college admissions process really is something
