<p>According to WesCheck, they still have not received my second teacher evaluation. I actually ended up asking three teachers to write recs, after my guidance counselor told me that my band teacher didn’t “count” as an academic rec (I had already asked him and one other teacher). I wasn’t about to tell my band teacher to forget about it, and anyway he mailed the rec out shortly thereafter and it was updated on WesCheck as teacher evaluation 1. Happy day. So I wasn’t exactly taking a leap of faith in expecting at least one of the other two to get to Wes.</p>
<p>But since then, my app and essay were updated on WesCheck, even though I have confirmed with my teachers that they had mailed the recs long before I had actually submitted my commonapp. Maybe admissions is confused about which of the two recs to use? Should I call them, or have my guidance counselor call to explain?</p>
<p>I did receive a confirmation email from Wes, and it says that I can use WesCheck two weeks after the deadline to make sure everything is updated, so maybe I’ll just wait.</p>
