Poughkeepsie isn’t horrible, but in comparison to Middletown, it’s pretty bad. Like the city area seems kinda rundown.

And I haven’t even started on my other essays for my back-up colleges. Hmm I should probably do that soon, but I could just wait until I get the admissions decision.

I don’t know about you guys, but if I get rejected, I am taking a day or two off of school. I would be such terrible company… plus it would be a good time to work on essays. ^_^

has anybody seen the movie liberal arts? its directed by and stars josh radnor of himym… it kinda seems like the appropriate time to watch this movie

Noooo it’s not on netflix or amazon.
Buuut I don’t have school tomorrow (we get the first day of deer hunting season off), so I have time to find it.
Plus it should help pass the time. Ahhh I was stupid and did my homework at the beginning of break so now I have nothing to do but think about college things.

doctorhorrible at least you got all your hw done! and danielfelsen, if i get accepted, i will be so happy, ill have so much time to do other things. i’m anticipating my rejection and that will suck so much. dont have any plans other than being in a really bad mood for a few days. you?

Haha agreed. If i get accepted ill probably just be happy for the rest of the school year/summer and start working on a list of projects ive been holding off till post college. If i get rejected ill probably be in a really bad mood for a few days. Hoping to atleast get the email with the notification time this week.

if i get in, i’m gonna make myself read all of war and peace (it better be a good book) in addition to other books before the school year ends. who cares how much school work there is after getting into college haha no more stress!

that would be a nice surprise, but not expecting it till next week though. do you guys also check your wescheck constantly and just hope that the page has somehow changed? lol

Lol yes! I check wescheck all the time and its always the same. All green except for the midyear report. I know that nothing will change but i still check it. Also the online decision isnt going to be on wescheck

Hey I’m new to CC and I applied ED to Wesleyan, too! I’m so excited! And nervous, too, because I went on capex for chancing and it said “This college has accepted students with similar credentials, but they’ve also passed on just as many.” I hope I’m on the half that gets accepted…

And same, I check WesCheck all the time. I keep hoping that one day I’ll log on and the screen will say “Application Reviewed” or “Application Reviewed and we think you are fabulous. Talk to you soon! xx”
Oh, one can dream.

Hey acoolpanda! Also in regard to the capex thing, you can’t truly “chance” something like Wesleyan. Like all top universities/LACs, just scores wont cut it. They want people who will add to the diversity of a campus. People get rejected to Wesleyan with 2300s and people get accepted with 1950s, it all depends on the person. So don’t worry about a computer giving you a chance. Best of luck!
