<p>i finally figured out what happened. i applied ED first, but as i am a chinese student seeking aid. so actually, i applied to be a freeman asian scholar. that explains why my decision has not yet been made. it will not come out until April first. anyone who is in the same situation? huh?</p>
<p>hey HarryJiang did you get to waive the application fee? If so how did you do it?</p>
<p>@chloeqcc：i submitted an addendum indicating my choice that if i cannot get the scholarship, i would still go to wesleyan. thus, i cannot wavier my fee.</p>

<p>@danielfelson, I got a small packet with just the official acceptance letter and financial aid stuff. It seems like the big packet with all the papers and whatnot will be mailed after Dec. 20.</p>
<p>Yeah I got the small packet today! My sweatshirt also came :). Also did Nancy (admissions) write “grar!” on anyone elses letter haha.</p>
<p>Ah I’m so jealous. I won’t be getting my Wes merch for another week. 
And lol yeah she said “grar!” on mine, too! Haha I had no idea what it meant until you mentioned it.</p>
<p>Haha I think she meant to write “great!” but she was probably tired from all the letters she had to sign. And I know that for regular decision acceptances, she usually writes “come to wes!”</p>
<p>Congratulations to all that were accepted. I remember a few weeks ago you all were extremely nervous and now here you are, on your journey to Wesleyan.</p>

<p>I was also accepted although I went through a much different process… I will be joining you all as a member of the inaugural Veterans Posse class of 2018. Its going to be a HUGE adjustment trying to integrate into student life from the military but I am excited to meet you all and hope you will all be as welcoming as the Wesleyan staff has been.</p>
