Wharton Early Decision Chances

No, it was a joke.

uh yeah dont take sat II math 1
um like others said, good EC’s (your FBLA record is particularly disgusting :D)
work hard on the essays and demonstrate extreme interest (i.e. summer programs at wharton or visit them, etc.)
SAT is kinda low so try to get 35, 36 on the ACT

oh and btw which wharton program will u be applying to? cuz it really depends

damn!!! employee’s, diversified investment??? Damn jealeous and DO NOT take the SAT a 4th time, many university’s don’t even look at your folder if you ahve taken the SATs more than three times, I owuld say you are a solid reach - slight reach if your essay was blown out of the water jaw dropping amazing. If not, probably high reach due to test scores. GPA really dependes on the school, classes offered, competitive or not, standerized testing is the only way they can compare students so take tecaddy and others advices and get a really good ACT score.

A question for you all, would it be bad to take an SAT II a second time??

I wouldn’t ever retake SAT II’s they are over 700

If It’s from 500-700 Don’t Do it cuz it’s prolly worthless unless its in a subject that is pertinent to your major

Under 500, retake anything if you want…depending on what college you will be expecting to look at your scores but definitely retake something if u plan to go into a field that involves that area and make sure you get over 720 the 2nd time.

Otherwise, think about all those other things you could do with your $18

The general agreement is that it would not be good to take the SATs a fourth time? Even if my math score is so low?

-dont take it a fourth time (710 isnt that low)

ace sat II math II (780-800) if ur looking to apply business programs or anything math related…but seriously if you ace the math II exam, you have great chances at your schools

oh and btw,
i like your essay topic
no joke, it would at least be an interesting read and you could show off as sense of humor

I talked with my guidance councilor today. He agreed with what everyone says and told me not to take the SAT again. Like everyone suggested, he said to concentrate on the subject tests. He will call UPenn and see what they are looking for in terms of subject tests.

He did inform me that the student from last year who got into UPenn had a math 1 SAT of 800 and a Math II subject test SAT of 790.

Maybe I can convince some low-raking students to apply early decision to make me look better :)

does an 800 in math on the sat I make up for a 650 in critical reading if applying to wharton early?

^ ok ure worrying me, i ll be taking AP physics next year as a junior, and i will be taking IB math SL, which is a weaker version of precalc combined with stats.

250K+, oh my… out of curiosity, are your parents in the finance field?

and if you want wharton, get that SAT to above 2200, and especially improve in math

Yeah they probably are which explains his “diversified investment” company. Mommy and daddy helped him out.

op, ur paul arent u.

■■■■ it’s paul! NJFBLA FTW.
