What APs are good for Biomedical Engineering?

Like for Johns Hopkins BME program?

I would assume Physics B, C Mech, and C E&M since it is engineering. Might as well throw in Bio and Chem to cover your foundations.

In general, Calculus BC is typically the most useful, as it is accepted for a semester or year of freshman calculus except at super-elite science and engineering schools whose freshman calculus courses have a lot more theory. Chemistry, Biology, and Physics C may be accepted, depending on the university; even if not accepted, they will be better preparation for university level courses than regular high school courses. English is useful at many universities to fulfill writing course requirements (though not at Johns Hopkins).

Physics B will not be useful for a science or engineering major required to take a calculus based physics course.

If you are considering medical school, the medical schools may not accept AP credit in lieu of the university level courses, though they may accept more advanced university level courses in the same subjects. You may want to ask in the pre-med forum if that is a concern.
