<p>My D scored 740-800 on every section of the SAT, and has a resume just like what riverrunner describes above. While on official visits, D heard other recruits discuss their stats and sports standings (it’s a timed sport). Of the girls whose SAT scores she found out, all were a bit lower than hers–in the 2100 range. Their sports standings fell in the top 150 to top 10 range nationally.</p>
<p>D’s weaknesses which might have excluded her from Ivy admission were she not an athlete, were her SAT II and AP scores (good but not great), and community service (not much except what she did through a summer internship).</p>
