I got in to UNC-CH last year with similar stats as an OOS (people say out of state is way harder since they cap OOS percentage at 18% of total class, but I’m not sure if that is true). From my experience, the decision is very much based off of essays and letters of rec (given that you don’t lack in the stats department). UNC-CH was and still is my dream school as well since I plan on going into pharmacy(UNC’s pharmacy program is #1 in the nation!!!), but took up a full-ride to my home-state university since I don’t want to be in debt and I don’t want my parents paying 40,000 a year for my undergrad when grad matters more. Good luck in your college finding process.
