You are considered middle class but can pay $70,000 a year?

I believe the cost to attend is about $73,000 a year at both for boarding students.

@skieurope do you know?

Apply and see…

You are a very strong candidate, but every year there are candidates left with no acceptances when they only apply to highly rejective schools. If you really want to attend bs, make sure to cast a wider net. If your LPS is a good option, take your shot.

If you are serious about a strong boarding school education, you need to look at more than just 2 schools. Other schools also provide generous financial aid to middle class families.

For example, check out Deerfield’s announced FA policies for this year:

idk not like 70k but even with financial aid hes prob only willing to pay if its like a rlly good school lmao

You are very well qualified. You cannot predict admissions or financial aid though so apply more broadly.

I think you might want to review the statements about CTY because I think they are slightly misstated. The old SET program was discontinued and SET was simply combined with Grand Honors. Students can earn High Honors for individual scores in either Math or English. To earn the more coveted Grand Honors/Set award you must earn the higher standard in both Math and English in the same year. You don’t earn Grand Honors in one and SET in the other. Grand Honors can be earned/achieved in multiple years/ages with multiple tests. Eligibility Scores | Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY)

So you just write Grand Honors/SET 2023 Congratulations
