Most of the CA medical schools are in the top 50 medical schools in the US: Stanford, UCSF, UCLA, UCSD, USC, UCD and UCI. UCR is relatively new in the UC system and may be just as difficult to get into as some of the other UC medical schools. I believe Loma Linda might be a little easier to get into. You should look at the websites of the medical schools you are considering and review their requirements and the profiles of admitted students.
