<p>haha I’m glad you’re taking a mature position on acceptance. definitely apply if you want to go there, but it’s not the end of the world if it doesn’t happen. Here are the facts: the average math score is a 635. Avg CR is 615. So Average SAT is about 1250/1600. </p>
<p>Every college calculates GPA differently, but here is UF’s breakdown:
82% had h.s. GPA of 3.75 and higher
11% had h.s. GPA between 3.5 and 3.74
3% had h.s. GPA between 3.25 and 3.49.</p>
<p>Also, class rank:
76% in top 10th of graduating class
92% in top quarter of graduating class
98% in top half of graduating class</p>
<p>So, as you can see, the majority of people are in the top 10%, have above a 3.75 (MAY be weighted! Not sure) GPA, and average SAT is about 1250. </p>
<p>Dag - I don’t think you need a 1400 SAT to have a great shot at UF. The Honors requirement is a 2070 (or close, im not sure), which is less than 700 on each section (1400 is 700 avg on two sections).</p>
