<p>I think you have a solid chance, but saying “safety” is not quite true. Your GPA falls below the bottom 25% for last year’s class, and you should keep in mind that UGA considers GPA more important than SAT/ACT scores. Your test scores are fine (well above average for UGA) but you’d be a very strong candidate if you could raise your GPA another .1 or .2. Since you might fall on the borderline, your course rigor will definitely work in your favor. Hope this helps, and best of luck in the admissions process.</p>
<p>P.S. I’d also encourage you to apply EA, but realistically you should be prepared to expect a deferral to RD given your GPA. Your ECs sound strong, so I think the RD essays would also work in your favor.</p>
