<p>FYI: 25% of the freshman class have scores less than a 31 ACT (1380 CR + M). Some of these are athletes and have other hooks, but not all. I believe that Rice looks at much more than ACT/SAT stats and that essays and (especially) class rank can compensate for lower standardized test scores.</p>
