@robertrulez We should definitely be friends! :)

I am a Hispanic, Turkish, Muslim, Female. (I don’t know if that really matters… ha ha)

I was Salutatorian of my class of 364 in my high school in Texarkana, Texas.

I have a 4.0 Unweighted GPA

I was President of the Science Club, Statistics Club, Music Theory Club, and Calculus Club, on the Math and Science UIL team, and in NHS.

I had a 30 composite on my ACT, and will I am hoping to retake the ACT in September.
AP test scores:
(Junior year)
English Lang. and Comp- 3
US History- 3
(Senior year-- of course, didn’t matter on my application for a freshman in Fall 2010 since I hadn’t taken them)
English Lit. and Comp- 4
Calculus AB- 5

I am also hoping to do a lot better in college, especially EC wise. I’m going to be in the Honors College at the University of Houston and take all Honors classes, plan to be in the Muslim Student Association, Hispanic Student Association, Honors Jazz Band (and symphonic band, if the practice schedule doesn’t conflict with my other activities), play intramural or club soccer, be in the Houston Astronomical Society, and if I am accepted, the Houston- Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (H-LSAMP). I also am hoping to volunteer at the Houston Museum of Natural Sciences on Fridays, since I will only have one class those days. I don’t know if all of that will work out, because I know I most likely won’t have enough time to do all of those things, but hopefully most will work out. Also, my essays for Fall 2010 admittance were not the best, though they weren’t pitiful, and I hope to spend more time and do a much better job on them this time.
