<p>I meant to say they out earn them for the first 30 years or so aka the time that matters. Besides all of this you continue to whine about the starting salary of a ups driver… fine. Change the ups driver to an engineer’s starting salary and keep it at that for 30 years and you get the same result. There’s no money in becoming an MD. The graph is also in favor of doctors. If the writer factored in all of the stuff I mentioned in the second post than it could easily be 40 years after high school (age 58) until the median doctor BEGINS to outearn the ups driver working 2 shifts/engineer that would probably still work less hours than them.</p>
