SweetTea, thanks for sharing. Think I’ll prepare my cauliflower like that tonight.

^^^ I probably should have said baked cauliflower instead of roasted but even those who don’t care for cauliflower have liked it prepared this way.

I am wanting to try several of these recipes too!

Pasta + lentils + veggies + oil + spices (italian seasoning, red pepper)
Pasta + lentils + veggies + tomato sauce
Rice + chickpeas + veggies + sweet/sour sauce

Cheap and easy lo mein using Ramen packs.

Boil noodles, drain. Saute in pan–use cooking oil, your choice, with green onions and any other veggies you might have and finely chopped meat you might have left over too. I often use lunch meat like ham. Use ramen seasoning package to season.

Something I also use is leftover wilted lettuce as the veggies, when sauted, they are much like cabbage and work very well. ALso can make an “omelette”, cut it into small strips and use for the protein and garnish.

The dude cooks salmon right in the stovetop:

Sea salt
Pepper
Heavy dose of olive oil

Gets raves and much quicker than the plank salmon on the grill. Fire up the Omega 3’s.

I make my roast beef by seasoning the beef well–I prefer Chuck roasts, then put in the oven in a covered pan for 4-6 hours at 250°. It is very hard to get out of the pot because it is so tender and moist.

Our kids really like chicken breasts marinaded in ranch salad dressing, rolled in crushed croutons and baked at 350° for about 45 minutes or so.

Apple, caramel dip–2 things, very yummy :D.
