As a University of Georgia student, I would invite Kendrick Lamar to my institution. Lamar’s lyricism speaks to me as an African American individual as he uses his music to highlight issues within the African American community. His use of metaphors within his lyrics allow for listeners to paint visuals within their heads as they listen to his songs. His instrumentals are groundbreaking in the Hip-Hop scene and even his older tracks still hold much influence on listeners until this day. His large influence and popularity is why I would invite him to the University of Georgia.

I would invite Matthew McConaughey and bring him to Tulane. He’s charismatic, laid-back, and would definitely enjoy the vibrant culture of New Orleans. He’s also involved in academia, having taught at the University of Texas, so he’d likely appreciate the energy of a college campus. Plus, his love for live music and good food aligns perfectly with the Tulane and New Orleans vibe.

I would invite Lauren Daigle to Liberty University! She is one of my favorite artists and is so full of joy! I think I would learn a lot from her since I want to be a Christian artist too.
