If I could invite any celebrity of my choice to my dream college, it would be Dave Chappelle. I’m a huge fan of his comedy and good stand-up in general, and we would be going to Columbia University in New York.
I would invite Dr. Atul Gawande to visit SUNY Upstate Medical School (my future med school! Go Class of 2030!). I was beyond inspired by his book Being Mortal and would love to pick his brains about what I could do as a future physician to improve end of life care and the quality of nursing homes for elderly patients and patients with neurodegenerative disorders.
I would invite Dr. Atul Gawande to visit my dream (and future!) medical school, SUNY Upstate Med! His book Being Mortal was beyond inspirational for me and I would love to ask him a couple of questions regarding his thoughts around end of life care and improving quality of life for elderly patients. #AscentSponsored
I would invite Zendaya because she seems like a cool person. My dream college is UCLA.
If I had the opportunity to invite someone to my dream college campus for a day, I would invite Dr. Ben Barris to the University of Washington. Dr. Ben Barris is a doctor who pursued her interest for medicine even though her parents were not supporting it. Her story highly resonates with mine since my parents also don’t completely support my choice to follow a medical pathway. They have other wishes for my future career, but I intend to follow this pathway. Dr. Barris’ story of determination would encourage other classmates to continue persevering towards their goal, even when it’s hard or when their friends or family don’t support them. Her visit to my dream college campus would remind us that following our dreams is always worth the struggles along the way.

I would invite Khadijah bint Khuwailid, a powerful woman whom I look upon in admiration, to the International Islamic University Malaysia.
I would invite Kelsea Ballerini as she is my favorite celebrity and I would love to see her perform at my school with all my friends. My dream college name would be like Sunny Palms University or something.
If I could invite anyone, it would be Cristiano Ronaldo. His journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of the greatest athletes in the world is incredibly inspiring. His dedication, discipline, and resilience resonate deeply, especially with students striving to overcome their own challenges. Ronaldo’s story is a testament to the power of perseverance, and I believe his visit would motivate students to chase their dreams fearlessly. My dream college is William Paterson University, and having someone like Ronaldo there would perfectly align with the university’s mission to empower students to achieve their potential.
I would invite Bruno mars because he’s my favorite artist, and I would bring him to Ohio State.
I would invite Trisha Paytes to Boston University because I think she would really enjoy the city atmosphere.
I would bring Jim Carrey to college because he never had the chance to finish college when he dropped out to help support his family. I would bring him to Etown to give him the experience he never had.
I would invite Johnny Cash, because he’s a big inspiration for learning music. I would invite him to UK.
I would invite Selena Gomez @rarebeauty, to come to the university of West Texas A&M. I would show her around campus and suggest new products. We could even do a pop up and whatever money is raised from there can be donated to the Worsham Family, who has just gone through a tragedy.
Despite not being here anymore, Martin Luther King Jr. has made one of the most profound changes ever in American history. Ultimately, he has a name that everyone recognizes, no matter the age, education, or race of a person. In addition, MLK is an inspiration to me because he led a movement for black Americans through nonviolent resistance and completely shifted the way Americans view racial discrimination and protests. I would love to invite him to my dream school, Georgetown University, where he can see all the work I plan to do to address all the violence, division, and prejudice happening in our country. I would like to show him that his efforts aren’t in vain and that there are still plenty of people like me who strive to continue making progress and not settling. As a minister and social rights activist, I hope he’d see that I have potential to be the next person to make a substantial difference in the future of the United States.
