<p>If you completed your studies in the US, your college/university has a career center. Pick up the phone. Make an appointment. Go sit down with them and find out what you can do to get a job with the degree(s) and work experience that you have.</p>

<p>Then do your level best to land a job. Any job. Start paying down your debt. </p>

<p>When you have made some progress at that, and you have worked for a while, you will start to see other careers that you can transition into from the one that you currently are in.</p>

<p>It is not just Sociology OR Math. There is a whole world out there.</p>
