Ex mayor of a local city just had a high school diploma, local construction company guy has 13 vehicles all modded or latest Mercedes, 7500 sq/ft house, just has a high school diploma if that, so he wins for wealth.

Stanford would be the most prestigious college a MD buddy he went there. Everyone else including myself just normal colleges LSU(MDL, UNO(Eng), Univ of Ark(MD), La Tech(MD), Holy Cross(BSN), Florida Tech(Hollywood), Tulane(Eng).

Unless you are truly going into something that requires connections or serious name recognition normal schools are fine for almost any profession. Even in 2016 so much of the world is connections and who you know!!

richest - inherited their fortune, so school wasn’t relevant
smartest - went to Vanderbilt, now a mathematician at NSA
closest to famous - went to Florida, now a professional athlete

Most prestigious: 2 very well known, self made businessmen.
1 from U of Maryland and 1 from UGA.

Most wealthy: went to Baltimore Polytech as a freshman, was accepted to MIT and planned to transfer as a sophomore, but left to go to the Korean War instead. Finished his degree in Industrial Engineering at MIT after the war.
