@izrk02 , yes, I’m aware of the Common Data Set info. What I was saying is that we can’t see the stats of the 90% of applicants that CMC rejects, in comparison to the 90% of applicants that other 10%-admit-rate schools reject. So OP’s question of why is hard to answer.
Are all these schools affordable? What is your budget? Have you spoken to your parents about how much they can spend on college for you?
There is no point looking at schools you cannot afford. That road only leads to heartbreak, especially if you get in but cannot attend due to finances.
