<p>None as far as I know. There are some schools though that will waive overage charges for certain classes, such as at U of R (where I go), music ensembles and private lessons don’t count for that. However, if you go above 6 units and don’t have those classes, you will be charged extra. In addition, you need a dean override to sign up for more than 5.5.</p>
<p>UC Berkley does not have unlimited credit caps, you need a dean or department override to sign up for more.

rice also needs a special approval to sign up for more classes.</p>
<p>These overrides are not that easy to get for good reason. Taking too many classes can cause you to get failing grades.</p>
