I wrote about visting the grave of my recently deceased friend.

how did you guys write your stories? like “I WOULD DO THIS, I would then do this. next, he would say to me…” because it asks you to plan an adventure… so can you write it as though it already happened/ happening as you write it?

im gonna buy 10$ worth of hand gun ammunition and throw them at people

is john hopkins liberal or conservative

I’d convert it to lira and live the life of a turkish billionare.

Speaking as a Turk, I can contend that the life of a Turkish billionaire is no different than the life of an American hundred-aire. :P

I said I would save it until I need to spend it.

courage:

The Turkish government just cut all the zeroes off of their money. $10 would be roughly 16TL.

I’d conver it to yen and live the life of a japanese millionare.

i would have lunch with a homeless guy.

hey hotty.
what happened to harvard ed??
well i am applying rd to both harvard and jhu :D

i got deferred. but i’m applying rd to jhu.

I wrote about my life adventure like if I were reliving the LOTR.

Are we supposed to write something really unique/different so that it stands out? Or actually write something we would do, so that they understand what kind of people we are? I wrote about a typical day my friends and I would have, but my brother is urging me to write something more creative, like he did (he got in but didn’t go). Does it matter, as long as it’s well-written?

yea i just wrote about buyuing a bbq steak sandwich, then taking the bus home

My idea is insanely creative, but the actual adventure isn’t that interesting. Oh, well.

^ I would be really interested to know what it is… maybe you can tell us after the deadline? Or will students still be sending in essays after the deadline?

I actually took the Metro (train) and went to D.C. for the Postsecret exhibit (www.postsecret.com).

I’m thinking that I might make a collage out of the photos and make it into a huge postcard, but mailing the thing might be a little difficult.

Or I might just burn the pictures onto a CD and then write an essay describing the trip.

I also have a shot of me wearing the “I went on a trip with Long John Silvers” paper, pirate hat when we went to eat there.

… I’m just having a hard time getting started…

I wrote about a day I had with a friend I hadn’t seen in seven years, and all the memories it evoked and so forth. I’m in Indonesia, so thanks to the higher purchasing power of the Rupiah than the US$, it was actually a moderately-high spending day.

i have one question… i am applying 4 the regular admission so it has to b postmarked by jan 1st. i have everything done… but my transcript. do you think they are going to accept my transcript after jan 1st ??
