<p>You will certainly find that all the Academies are ABET certified, very serious about their Engineering – which will translate into HARD Calculus, Chemistry, Physics. So, make sure you have good strength in those types of subjects. They are known as Plebe Killers, with good reason.</p>
<p>Study hard. Participate ACTIVELY in the clubs your are enjoying. CREW is a great way to be in good overall physical condition. Keep it up, or some type of activity … (helps to handle stress levels too:) )</p>
<p>Good job on planning ahead and asking questions.</p>

<p>And if, ultimately, they offer you a prep-year somewhere. TAKE IT. I’ve seen a lot of great kids sent home to bone-up on Math and study skills. Take a time-management class somewhere as well.</p>
