<p>Wow. It seems that most stopped the practice once the youngest mother was a high school girl.</p>
<p>Dress is all over the place at my southern Episcopal church. Personally, I wear jeans, sometimes pants. I figure they’re just happy I show up.</p>
<p>One time my daughter was in a musical that required us to do a wet set of her hair on those pink foam rollers. She insisted on going to church like that. I insisted she wear a scarf over them.</p>
