I just found out that their online, free shipping merchandise has some nice variety! Was able to get Cascade Platinum - my sister swears it makes all her glasses look amazing. There were a lot of nice products on the website that we don’t usually have in my store.
I buy a very expensive face cream and Kerastase shampoo from Costco - it is only sold online. Mr. bought me a very cool anniversary ring, also online.
Which face cream and do you like it?
Not cheap… $$$$$$$$$$$$

Lasts me a few months.
Went to Costco today… They had kantareller!!! Wow! Mr. is in seventh heaven. Dinner tonight: pan-fried chanterelle mushrooms and ribs!
Yikes, Better than the strivectin ? I wasn’t impressed with that. Seemed lots like the ROC.
The new Hawaiian chicken with pineapple in the ready to warm up prepared stuff case = loads of sugar. It was kind of good but really really sweet.
Nope. Does not even pretend to be a Strivectin or to contain retinol. It is what is. Since you asked what I buy, I answered the Q. If it is not your cup of tea, keep moving on. I do not understand the need to pile on with bashing. For me, it is worth every penny: it lasts for a long time, smells wonderfully, and keeps my skin hydrated all day long. YMMV. That’s all.
My local Costco is selling a two pack of twin xl sheet sets for $15.
Sam’s had organic peaches and nectarines yesterday–it was more convenient for us tan Costco. They also had $3.49 strawberries for 2 pounds. I rarely go there, so was pleasantly surprised.
Sam’s will be having a one day sale with sheets 450 thread count cotton at good prices soon (don’t remember the date).
@BunsenBurner , I’m so sorry if that sounded like bashing. I was just asking if you had tried either of the other face products that I have purchased at Costco as a comparison. I used to wear a perfume that was very ot of my price range but I loved it and saved to buy it, so I understanding spending more for something that makes you look or feel wonderful. Sorry I worded it poorly.
@BunsenBurner, I wish I’d read about the shampoo before I purchsed quart sized Purology. Do they sell those shampoos all the time? Do you use the conditioner also? Thx
No problem, dragonmom! It takes two to misunderstand. To answer your question, I tried Strivectin once and tossed it. I was not impressed with the texture and how it made my skin feel. The Chanel cream does not claim to have the same effect as Strivectin, it just feels sooooo good and leaves my skin hydrated for a very long time. It is very, very expensive, so I recommend getting a sample from Nordstrom etc. before shelling out the $$$.
1214mom, you have to hunt for the shampoo/conditioners on Costco site, it is not a regularly stocked item.
BB, good to know. I will write it down and check when I am maybe halfway through current shampoo.
Has anyone bought a Ring video doorbell? Was it around $180 and how do you like it?
Love it!
Love the fact that I can talk to someone at the door without opening it.
We bought ours from Amazon but understand it is the same at Costco but $10 less than we paid.
Even saw a solicitor at the door when we were in Iceland. Found the flyer when we got home.
Yeah it’s $199 on amazon but Costco shows online they have it but you can’t get the price unless you register.
I’m not sure if it’s the same brand, but they had remote doorbells at our local Costco this weekend.
Drugs. Niece went to a drug store pharmacy to get a prescription filled. $600, not covered by insurance. Mr. got her prescription to Costco - $250 for the same stuff. Yeah.
Socks. They have the four pack of women’s 80% merino wool socks with free shipping…$13 for 4 pairs. Love them. Just ordered 3 packs for D.
I’m bumping up this thread to ask a question of all frequent Costco shoppers. Have you ever arrived and found no carts available, that all of them were in the parking lot? If so, has this happened more than once?
It has happened more than once to me. On Friday afternoon there were no carts. The greeter was telling people the manager was saying to go back out to the parking lot and get one. H went back out, I went on into the store, where I heard two employees discussing how it had been a pretty slow day. I called the corporate number and complained. I didn’t know it but H was doing the same thing.
I’ve lived in other places and have never encountered this at Costco or any other store. I hope it is just this one?
I’ve never had a problem with getting a cart at the two stores I’ve been to frequently. I’m just curious. Why not speak to the manager or the customer service people first about your concerns before involving corporate?
