<p>I used to volunteer in my community, but the following factors have made me feel compelled to refrain from engaging in volunteering for local events:</p>
<p>-The number of volunteers exceeds the number of participants.
-The volunteer events are run by a limited number of individuals, and the committee itself is exclusive, only enabling a certain amount of individuals to participate in it.
-The volunteer coordinators occasionally do not show up.
-There are waitlists to volunteer.</p>
