What do you hate....that almost everyone else loves

The acronyms on this site, esp. S, DD, DH etc.

Manchester United

the television show " Friends " zero interest

^^ha, I’m currently binge watching friends. The girls are so fascinated by it.

Waterfalls… Look at all that water go over that cliff. Look, there it goes again.

Winnie-the-Pooh… I can’t wait for the new Disney feature: Dick Cheney Pays a Visit to Ashdown Forest.

Oh yes, Winnie-the-Pooh. I never got that.

I don’t like Charlie Brown or any of the Peanut gang. They’re just…stupid and annoying. All of them. Never liked the comic strip. Hate the TV specials. I don’t like Winnie the Pooh either, but they aren’t as overexposed as CB and the rest.

Oh, thank goodness, someone else thinks so too!!

I have seen the acronyms, like DD, DH, etc. on other sites. The one thing about the acronyms here that took getting used to was the use of HS graduation year instead of age to describe a child.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Unappealing characters, gruesome story, badly written. ugh.

I dislike the word “hate” . Too strong and overused on too many situations. JMO.

I always hated Winnie the Pooh until for some reason I decided to decorate my baby’s room with it! Painted the wall, stencils and all. Crazy. The bedding was adorable, the old time version. D loved it and I painted the walls in bright colors.

Oh excuse me @jym626 , I meant “disliked”

You are excused. It’s just a “nails in a blackboard” word to me.

Well, it is the title of the thread lol.

Along the lines of champagne…I can’t abide caviar.

Score another one for the ardent dislikers of football. Why would anyone want to watch a bunch of bruisers whose main goal is to plow into or jump on top of other big bruisers? And don’t get me started on head injuries…

I never used to enjoy champagne, but when we had a party and concert to celebrate the harpsichord my husband built (I posted about that elsewhere on this site ), the guy at the wine store recommended Mailly Grand Cru for our toast. It was only about 35 bucks per bottle and it was delicious! I will buy that from now on for any occasion calling for a special drink. Heck, I might even manufacture a special occasion or two!

Camping…I haven’t done the real thing…fire pits…went to Yosemite when I was a kid stayed in a cabin. You’ve seen one tree…you’ve seen them all. Celine Dion…sorry. People who are rude to everyone they perceive as the help.

Along the lines of cheap champagne due to hangovers…

Peppermint. Anything peppermint…Gum, mints, candy, flavored coffee…Anything. Due to a very…uhhh…bad experience with Rumpleminz in high school. Shiver
