I’m almost never on here anymore, but this caught my attention, mainly because i’m sick of Case people (not you guys, its understandable for all of you to be curious) complaining about things that are their own fault. I’ve been here for the past four years, listening to students whining that there’s no social life, when ALL they do is sit in their own room playing warcraft. I’ve had an incredible time here with an awesome social life, because i’m willing to put myself out there an meet new people. I urge you all to ignore the horror stories you hear, because every person I know at Case that puts a little effort into having a good time here, does exactly that.

That being said, I love that 95% of the time, even the most social kids here are serious about school. People here will understand that you have a big exam on the upcoming Monday, so this weekend will be a bit more relaxed than usual- and more often than not, your friends will be right there with you studying.

I love having a close group of friends with whom to hit the bars on the weekends, go to all the museums around university circle, concerts, broadway musicals, raid any and every event on campus that involves free food, etc.

I love that with the numerous graduate schools on campus, there are tons of labs around if you want to get involved in research.

Believe it or not, I love being so close to Cleveland, which provides a lot more entertainment than you might imagine.

I love a lot of my professors, and of course others not so much.

I love that Case allows you to switch freely between the separate undergraduate schools (weatherhead, engineering, arts and sciences).

I <3 the snow.
