What does your status page say? 2.0

I want to sleep. That’s my update. _

I’ve become very intimate with my mailbox, lately. Then I punch it when I don’t get mail.

hahahaha, ^^^^^^^that just made me laugh for some reason.

theobserver:Shane & mango, got my fingers crossed, but looks really good. Hopefully you will get that package Monday or Tues if the pattern continues to fit.

thank you observer. I will post updates here when something changes. hopefully package…

@mango:

my friend got a 3/20 update and got his acceptance packet yesterday.
i think the update’s a good sign for you. :)

ahhaha roar.

There are two mangos?

I’m so lost/confused __

Daughters status was updated sometime in Feb when she submitted mid year grades–then updated 3/18 and updated again 3/20. She received her acceptance packet 3/20. Her friend’s status updated on 3/17 and again on 3/19 and received packet 3/19. It would seem that updates a couple of days apart would bode well! Good luck!!

update 3/19, nothing since. Hope that isn’t a BAD sign…?

I got update 3/18, then 3/20, but DID NOT get the Oasis link. Hope that doesn’t mean that I’ve been rejected… :(

btbam 91: My daughter did not get the Oasis link either, I don’t think that is anything to worry about.

K2Mom: Where are you located? What majors did your d and her friend apply to? My S was updated 3/14 and 3/19; no oasis link and nothing in mail yet. We are in NJ

k2mom, sorry for the confusion, but I think we’ve just been trying to point out that OASIS link = acceptance, not being accepted and then getting the link.

During the past week anyone who has been accepted has gotten the link. Anyone accepted prior got no such link. I can pretty much confirm (even though I’m not an adcom or anything) that from this point on getting the link = acceptance.

Agreed with squadus.

ShaneUSC, rest easy, because you should be in :)

btbam, I still think the most important pattern is that of posting an update and posting a second update one or two days later. If you think about it, it makes sense to make an acceptance decision, then a second update (a day or two later) confirming the admit letter was sent.

I’d say you have much better than average odds of getting in.

ranganz, how do you know lol :P

coachmike: we are in So Ca and my daughter was accepted to Annenberg. I believe her friend is undeclared L & S but I’m not positive. It takes are few days for mail to get back east so maybe tomorrow!

It seems to me the pattern is getting a March update, then one a couple of days later, then acceptance. So what do you guys think of an update on 3/16, last Monday, with nothing for a week afterward? If they rejected me, I want to know already! Anyway, sorry, just being crazy. USC is seriously messing with my mind lately…

luckygirl-i am having the same thoughts…i got a 3/19 update…but nothing else…no link…no mail…i’m pretty sure i’m rejected.

Now, how can you be so sure? They might just be reviewing your application as we speak.
