<p>CAHSEE is the California High School Exit Exam, all sophomores are taking it tomorrow.</p>

<p>There were a lot of protests a couple years ago about it being biased or something.</p>
<p>Yes, there are a few. But usually it’s because they are either 1) English language learners (well, they only fail the English part) or 2) Special Ed</p>
<p>@ delass - I just got home from work and read your response. It made me laugh out loud. 
No, there are mountain trails, but no mountains on campus here. Haha. Anchorage is more flat… not really, but the mountains are all near Eagle River and Wasilla (Palin’s hometown! 
).</p>
<p>I think my mail-man knows me by now. Everyday at 1pm he sees me coming and he already has the mail out and ready for me.
I just hope I get a packet (<3) before I leave for California on Thursday.</p>

<p>Iv never had mail take more than 3 days to arrive someplace, so it should, especially if you leave after you get the mail. Do you know anyone else who applied?</p>
<p>It actually takes around 5(ish) days for mail to get up here. It really sucks. Since we’re cut off from the rest of the US, they have to send it mid-west, then fly it up… and it would be just my luck for the packet to arrive right after I leave. :P</p>
<p>And nope. I’m the only one from my high school, and I think there’s one other kid in my school district.
It seems like everyone is either going to Washington or Idaho.</p>
<p>Doh, that sucks. How long are you in cali for? Maybe it will arrive the day you get back.</p>
<p>I know! I’m there until Sunday… I’m going there for a vocal competition. 
I told my mom and dad, though, not to open ANY mail they get from USC.</p>
