<p>mail comes in about 20 minutes… although it looks like no one except internationals have received anything today.</p>

<p>I finally got a status update! My previous was dated 2/11 and was the one that said they had received my midyear grades, but as of today it’s “Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don’t receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th.”</p>
<p>I’m trying not to read too much into it, but I really really do hope that it’s a good sign. I was pretty disappointed when I didn’t get anything in the mail today, but maybe tomorrow???</p>
<p>i don’t think the status matters as much as everyone keeps saying it does… my status was updated to the “in review by admission committee” way back on the 22nd of February and I still haven’t gotten anything in the mail… still waiting for the mail today though… I can always hope!</p>
<p>So did anyone, particularly in Socal who got an acceptance today?</p>

<p>My status changed to “your application is being reviewed by the admission committee” status today 3/17/09. I applied as a production major. Hopefully something is in the mail.</p>

<p>Okay… that makes me feel better too. Because right when I walked in the door, my grandfather was like there’s something for you. And I rushed to the table to find that it was just something I bought online.</p>
<p>so far, that is what I’ve concluded too. lots of international acceptances/ dhl emails.</p>
<p>but, some people are also getting status updates…i’m worried…mine was 3/6 last time it was updated. extremely worried.</p>
<p>such a disappointment. waiting at school was torture.</p>

Status is still the same. Prelim review 12/10, then In review sometime in February, but the date still says 12/10.

<p>I’m guessing that USC sends out acceptances to internationals first since they’re sorta more of a priority. so as far as this wave goes, the rest of us are next. keep hoping, trojans. we should be getting one tomorrow</p>
