<p>Sometime serendipity happens as well. My son graduated from Oberlin in 2010. We live in Madison, WI. In 2011 we got an email from a neighbor whose daughter attends Oberlin. She had an international friend who was doing January term at UW and needed a place to stay. Would we be willing to host him for the month. We agreed. We have now kind of adopted him. He came for Christmas and will likely come visit at the end of summer. Oberlin is kind of a big family :)</p>
