I have a robot sweeper (Mint) and I’m in love with it.

I do not hate them, I just do not do them. There are people out there who would be very happy to do them for you. I like make them happy. I do enjoy doing laundry / ironning though.

lol…

I do like it when I have a housekeeper; I don’t have one at the moment. However, even when I’ve had one, there are still plenty of daily stuff to do. But, if I remember correctly, you don’t cook either, so that probably cuts down on the daily stuff. I do enjoy cooking…and doing laundry. But, not ironing. :(

@BunsenBurner—my original Miele was blue and when I went to replace it, I couldn’t believe I was forced to buy a black one. I think they change the colors and names periodically just to confuse the consumer. Just one caution: one should not allow that auto-retracting plug to fly into the vacuum. It will eventually damage the auto-retraction feature. Also need to be a bit careful about not yanking the cord out of the wall and instead pulling with one’s fingers on the actual part that plugs into the wall.

First Miele needed what local shop diagnosed as possibly one or two repairs, totaling up to $350. Decided on the spot to just replace it instead of attempting to repair. Store gave me $50 on trade-in even though I didn’t trade it in. My in-laws took it home to their lower cost of living area and had vacuum repaired for $39. It has been working wonderfully for years since and now I can keep the old one down in the basement since that area has a lot of carpet.

I agree with BB that Miele makes an excellent vacuum, especially for hardwood floors. The original is still going strong after more than 15 years.

My vacuum is still going strong after 10 years, probably because it gets so little use.
(By the way, I really dislike the emoticons on the new CC. They’re all a little creepy. This one is one of the least creepy.)

Gee, what could possibly be creepy?? :ar! :@) =))

^^…and these… :-& >:) 8-X >-)

:(|) This one is the creepiest, imo.
