<p>LA has gangs thats a simple fact of the matter, i’m sure students at Columbia or even NYU have to deal with the same thing at times, even though new york is a little less gang oriented when it comes to crime.</p>
<p>I have never seen a “gang” per se. Yes i recall a student got shot near downtown last year, but almost every college has crime, even UCLA.</p>
