On the USC Scholarship page for Trustee and Presidential, it says, “An interview is required for finalist candidates.”

I remember reading this question before but I can’t find/link an answer. I do remember their reason was that besides the fact that the interview is a very important part of the selection process, they want the student to see the campus to make sure it is a good fit.

I’d contact the scholarship department to see if they can make any exceptions (phone interview?) Let us know.

Good luck.
