What if I want to earn a full tuition scholarship to a med school?

I have not denied your stories of largesse by two medical schools to two students. That may have happened. I’ll take your word for it for the puposes of this discussion BUT this is NOT true:
“BTW - your family’s income bracket doesn’t matter at all for med school. You will be independent.” Yes it does and no you won’t but still you persist in the face of mountains of evidence refuting your claims. I’m done with it, I don’t have time to list every school.

BTW , what point did you think I was missing? That some schools “preferentially package” some students they desire? Yeah. I think I wrote about that on CC a while back. ;)

on a brighter note, I got an email last week from my medical school that I was awarded a small merit scholarship($1500), the email was from the Dean of students. Caught me completely by surprise as I did not apply for any scholarships or loans(my parents are paying for everything-God bless them). This shows that some medical schools do some interesting things-as I am already enrolled, had paid all tuitions and fees for the entire year and did not ask them for anything financially and here comes a little ‘free’ money. Go figure.
