What is a "good" GPA in college?

It also depends on the specific college. I recently saw a list of the top 10 colleges where it’s hard to get an A and If you have a 3.0 or higher at one of those schools you are doing very well. On the other hand, at many of the state schools a 3.5 or higher is not that great because they hand out the high grades like candy. Case in point is WVU where they have a major called “Interdisciplinary Studies”. I’m not even certain what that degree is all about.

So is 3.43 a good GPA??
