<p>Mmm… did not mean it as insulting, but I think it is a valid question when comparing it to some of the other colleges with very intellectual reputations (eg, Swarthmore or U of Chicago). There is “intellectual” and “pseudo-intellectual”. At the time I originally posted, I was trying to figure out which category Reed falls into. Ultimately you will see from post #47 that it didn’t really matter in her final decision process, and I will leave that to others to debate whether it matters or not if they wish to.</p>
