<p>I applied to Texas Tech as Petroleum engineering first choice, and second was Foundational Engineering. I just sort of chose it randomly because I thought for sure I was going to get accepted for PetE according to their GPA requirement.</p>
<p>So now on application status, I’m admitted as Foundational Engineering. I tried to google it and even look on Texas Tech website and I can’t find anything on it. </p>
<p>Or is it just another term for pre-enigineering classes? I emailed admission about 5 days ago, still not heard back; thought I might get an answer here.</p>
