That is outstanding. You applied to a bunch of reach schools. Count your lucky stars that you got in with an amazing scholarship to a fantastic college. Look up a list of famous alumni of Kenyon and be honored that you were accepted.
Congratulations on getting into Kenyon. Thatâs an impressive acceptance, more so with a scholarship! (Thatâs the college Iâd choose.) As @Lindagaf said, look at the list of graduates - just impressive.
You can have a fantastic experience at Kenyon, perhaps follow with an OPT (hoping it will still exist in 2029!) and a Masterâs degree (Kenyon grads usually do very well in that respect).
That being said, do your due diligence:
Did Kenyon internationals in your majors if interest find summer internships? OPTs?
Email Northeastern about co-ops for internationals (what support do they offer internationals specifically? Are they seeing difficulties?)
Do you want a large city? Pitt and UToronto would offer that, one with a typical large state university and one with an elite university that is much more hands off and has grade deflation. UToronto is a way to escape the current US madness but even with the colleges itâs still not the close-knit community youâd find at Kenyon or Denison, or the broader âAll Americanâ community youâd find at tOSU, Pitt, or Northeastern.
Are you interested in American spectator sports, especially football, or is that a complete starter for you?
Did you get into the Honors college anywhere? If not, do you see an interesting Living Learning Community on the Housing page?
