However, RHIT places an emphasis on your GPA and class rank because they value work ethics especially strongly. If you read some posts on the Rose-Hulman’s section of the college confidential website, you will hear story of some one being rejected by Rose with an SAT of high 1500s out of 1600 because of his low GPA.</p>
<p>My advice is to really give some explanation of that low GPA and show that you are super committed and responsible for your study in the optional essay section of the application. Demonstrating that you are a good student is very important.</p>
